My crazy kid...

My dad made pancakes for breakfast this morning. While Abby was waiting for breakfast to be ready, she started telling stories. You never know what's going to come out....

Today she was telling us about the 'owie' on her knee. (Until this point, I was unaware that she had one. But I digress...) She informed me that she got the owie, "While I was playing on the roof and I fell off."

WHAT???

"But I was ok because Daddy catched me."

Obviously not, if she got an owie. But, anyway. The story went on but these were definitely the highlights. Stay tuned for the next installment of My Crazy Kid. LOL

Emma

Yesterday, Emma started being waaaaay more fussy than she normally is. I felt around and discovered a bottom tooth is breaking through! Thankfully, Emma is only getting one instead of Cami's two at a time. Not sure we could handle four teeth coming in at once!!!

But really, they are handling it very well. No fevers and no fits that we can't handle. As crazy as it gets, I am grateful every day that Heavenly Father sent me good babies. And that I have a good big girl and hubby to help me. Love them all!!

If you've wondered why I'm crazy...

....I thought I'd let you know. :)

Brain cells are leaving me at an alarmingly fast rate. But it sure is fun. :)

Giveaway

Check out this awesome giveaway over at Natalie's Sentiments! Some great ideas for Mother's Day....

Update

Had to jot down a few things before I forget the date...

Emma
Emma is crawling!! She crawled about two 'steps' this evening while I was playing on the floor with her. YEA!!! Now both babies are on the move; I've got to get after my baby-proofing with a vengeance!

Cami
Cami is getting her bottom two teeth. I pried her mouth open today and could see that her gums are broken. That explains why she's been a little grouchy lately and pulling at her ears. Fun times to come! :)

Both
Both babies are able to sit up on their own. From their tummies, they get on hands and knees, then fall back onto their booties. Then back to crawling...and into stuff. :)

Fun times at the Elliott house...

Emma on the move!

Emma has abandoned her trusty rolling technique and is officially doing the army crawl. She gets up on her hands and knees, rocks back and forth, the falls to her tummy and pulls herself around. So I have a feeling she'll be doing the 'real' crawling pretty soon. Go, Emma!

Twins

TWINS

There's two to wash,
There's two to dry,
There's two who argue,
There's two who cry.

One's in the mud
having a ball,
The other holds a crayon
marking the wall.

Some days seem endless,
My patience grows thin,
Why was I chosen
To be a mother of twins?

The answer comes clear
at the end of each day,
As I tuck them in bed
and to myself say:

There's two to kiss,
There's two to hug,
And best of all,
There's two to love.

Someone read this last night at the SLMOT meeting I went to. I thought it was extremely appropriate. :)
