Holy cow, where to start this update....I'm sure I will ramble, so please excuse me. :)
We are moving NEXT WEEKEND. Not far - just to the next apartment building. It's a three bedroom and we're getting for the same amount we're paying now. WOOOO!!! I really hate moving but I'm so excited to have some more room.
Babies are on the move. They're both crawling and pulling up all over the place. They're thinking about letting go and 'walking' along furniture but they're not in too big of a hurry. I need to start working with them. As much as it will stink to have them even more into stuff, I'll be glad when I don't have to carry them all the time. As of this past week, Emma weighs 23.4 pounds and Cami is still our lightweight at 21.4. For a combined total of almost 45 pounds. (Yes, I DO have amazing biceps. hahaha)
They are into everything! We try to corral them in the living room but they usually manage to escape. (Big sister usually assists in this department) Cami loves to put everything in her mouth, especially paper. I swear, she's part goat! It's crazy for me - not only because there are two of them doing it but because Abby wasn't like that. She didn't really put stuff in her mouth and stayed out of things once she was told no. But not these two little darlings!!
We've been working on our tricks. Emma started clapping while we were in Arkansas but then quit for awhile. She's now back into it and loves to clap when we do or even if she sees someone on TV clapping. Cami is starting to wave and Zac swears she can say, "Hey." But I think he's just nuts. ;)
Our Abby girl is so funny. She constantly cracks me up with the funny things she says. She is starting to develop more feelings and emotions - feeling empathy for others. Always asking, "Why?" and "Can I help? Can I do that?" Along with the empathy has come a bit of stubbornness. This week, I got my first dose of, "I don't like you! You're not my friend!" Ouch. Thought I had a few more years till that one came....
Well, there's a nutshell of what we've been up to. At least it's a post so now I won't feel so ashamed when I think about my blog. Here's hoping to get back on track! Enjoy some pictures of my cuties, on the house. ;)
Abby asked for a strawberry and, upon seeing only three left, decided there were just enough for sharing. Cami did pretty well with hers - Emma always manages to make a disaster of herself when she eats.
Up close and person with Miss Emma. Daddy fixed her hair!
Had to get up close with the Camster, too! I have a feeling this one is going to be our little funny girl. She laughs all the time!
Abby needed to get outside, Daddy needed to do homework and Mommy needed to fix dinner. So here's what we came up with. :)
Abby was totally peeved that Emma was in the bathroom with her. I figured this might help her understand how much I long to go to the bathroom in private. It didn't.
And in the other bathroom, we find Cami....eating paper, of course!
Have I mentioned how much I love this man? :)
