Parenting Pet Peeve
I had to miss work yesterday and today because Abby had a stomach bug and couldn't go to the little daycare she attends a few days a week. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem because my Mom can keep her, but Mom had a doctors appointment yesterday and today she had to go out of town. So I stayed home with my girl. Which is NOT a problem, I would much rather be with her than at work. BUT it reeeeaaaalllly bugs me that I'm a responsible parent who keeps my sick child home while other ninnies send their sick kids to daycare/school and that's why I have to use sick leave. Grrrrr. If people would be a little considerate, things in this world would run so much better...

Sorry little Abby has been sick... yuck! I hope she feels better soon! :) (Until then, enjoy being home and take a nap when she naps! :)
That stinks!! Ms. J's place isn't very big so I imagine if one kid is sick they all will be. Hope Abby is feeling better now!
Yeah, so we just had this exact same experience with someone at church and the nursery - ugh! It's only 2 hrs - keep your kid with you! My mom happens to be the nursery leader and told the mom that the boy was fussy and the mom says, "well, he's had a fever for the last 2 days, but I gave him medicine before he came." AARRRRR The medicine might help YOUR kid, but what about all the other kids that are going to get sick b/c of you?
