We had Cami's big test today - the auditory brainstem response test. We, of course, were very nervous and I was soooo hoping and praying for some good results. And we got them!!! Both ears showed perfect transmission of sound waves from the ears to the brain - no hearing loss for our sweet Camille Marie!! Susie, the audiologist, said that the other tests are more sensitive to environmental noise factors, which can send false results. But there's no way for this test to do that, so we now know for sure that our baby girl has perfect hearing. YEA!!!!!

I also had an appointment today so that the dr could check my wound. It's still open and we'll be packing it for another week. Hopefully next Tuesday they can close it up and we can start getting back to normal! We've been holding my mom hostage and she might want to go home someday! LOL

My dad is coming in to visit this weekend and Abby is super excited to have Grampa here for her birthday. I can't believe my big girl is going to be three - yikes!

Yay for Cami!!! I'm so glad :)
Ugh about your wound though. I hope you're on the mend soon!

And about birthdays... I KNOW - how can they be THREE???? I was looking at baby pics (well, of Sophie between 1 & 2 yrs) and it was crazzzzyyyy. She just doesn't even look like that anymore - she doesn't look like a baby anymore and it made me so sad to realize that. :( BUT - she's so much fun now (not that she wasn't before, but you knwo what I mean). What a little doll. The other day I made dinner and she said "Thank you Mommy for making us dinner." I looked around the table (my inlaws were here too) and said "Did anymore put her up to that?" and no one did. What a sweetie.
