Abby says....

We've been doing a combo nursing/pumping/bottles to feed the babies. A few formula bottles, but mostly breast milk in one way or another. Seeing me nurse has been interesting for Abby and has brought up some fun conversations. :)

This afternoon, I was getting everything set up on the kitchen table so I could pump and Abby came to sit in the chair next to me. I was just getting started when she pulled up her shirt, looked at her chest and said, "Mommy, I need to pump my boobs and get milk for my babies." Mom and I just about fell over trying not to laugh....

Kids are so funny. Yeahhhh... when I was bf-ing and pumping too we had some similar situations with Sophie. One night we were giving her a bath and she puts some random toy up to her chest, over her nipple and said "I'm pumping!" Aaron rolled over laughing.

We called breastmilk "mommy milk" and the baby needed some mommy milk to help her understand what was happening under that shirt! lol
